Buying a massage chair: everything you need to know
A massage chair is a long-term investment in your health and daily relaxation. Whether you suffer from back and neck complaints, want to reduce stress or enjoy a professional massage at home, at Thuiswellness you'll find the chair that suits you.
We offer three lines: the Essential Line from €799 with shiatsu and zero gravity, the Comfort Line from €1.299 with body scan and airbags, and the Elite Line from €2.349 with stretch functions and intensive air compression. All models are delivered within 48 hours and installed for free, with a 60-day trial period and 5-year manufacturer's warranty.
Do you suffer from back pain or tense muscles? Models with an SL-rail follow the full curvature of your spine, from neck all the way through to the upper thighs. Combined with the heat function in the lumbar zone, this provides targeted relief exactly where you need it most.
Which massage chair suits me?
Use our free selection guide to find the right chair in 2 minutes.
Can I pay in instalments?
Yes, via Klarna you pay in 3 instalments, without interest and without extra costs.
How long does delivery take?
Within 48 hours, including free installation at home.
What if the chair doesn't suit me?
Let us know within 60 days, we arrange the pickup and you'll receive a full refund within 7 days.
Is a massage chair good for back pain?
Yes. Models with an SL-rail massage the full length of the spine, including the lumbar zone. The heat function relaxes the muscles and can help with chronic tension and stiffness.
What is an SL-rail massage chair?
An SL-rail follows the S-curve of your spine (from neck to lower back) and continues as an L under the upper thighs. This gives a fuller massage than a standard S-rail model, and is especially effective for lower back complaints.
What is zero gravity in a massage chair?
In the zero gravity position the chair tilts so that your knees are slightly higher than your heart. This reduces pressure on the spine and creates the deepest possible relaxation during the massage.
How much space does a massage chair need?
Our models are approximately 73 to 75 cm wide. The clearance needed behind the chair varies per model: the Calma needs at least 30 cm, models like the Harmonie need at least 70 cm for a fully reclined position. Check the product page of each model for exact dimensions.
